The various and increasingly complex intervention requests made by public boards, company main clients, leaded the company to an extension of his range of action to the most varied categories of jobs.

The basic fields, in which the most experience and capability has been developed, are the building and management of aqueducts and water treatment implants.

The company activity is, nowadays as well in the past, the management and maintenance of water supply and sewerage systems for both public and private boards: among this can be mentioned E.S.A.F. ENTE SARDO ACQUEDOTTI E FOGNATURE ( Sardinia aqueducts and sewerage systems Board), Abbanoa s.p.a. (a company created for the management of the sewerage system and water supply in Sassari , now responsible for the whole Sardinia ), Consorzio di Bonifica del Nord Sardegna (north Sardinia reclamation Board), Consorzio di Bonifica della Nurra (Nurra reclamation Board), Municipal district of Sassari, Municipal district of Cagliari and several others Sardinian municipalities.

Has been in the past and is still today particularly remarkable the activity undertaken on behalf of the Municipal district of Sassari, during the years 2000 and 2001 has been done the reorganization and leak search in the water supply system in order to re-qualify the aqueduct and sewerage system to the directives of both European Community and Italian Law.

The job was successfully completed at cost of 4 milliard liras (Lira: Italian former currency, the equivalent amount is over 2 million euros)		  

 
 
  In that field the company has created technical and operational staff whit the abilities of:
  • Complete design of water purification plants, sewage treatment plants, water pumping and raising plants and general water treatment plants;
  • The complete building “off the shelf” of said plants;
  • The setting up, management and maintenance of said plants;
  • The construction of both water pipes and sewers with the necessary interceptor and control devices.
The company “Officina Turritana s.r.l.” may moreover carry out, manage and maintain:
  • Electric plants;
  • Electric transformers, electric lines both high and low voltage;
  • External lighting plants,
  • Monitoring, remote control, remote reading plants.
  
  The company, having the ability to operate in the fields of metal carpentry, mechanical and electro technical workshop, is not limited to the installation of external supplied products, but can realize devices (Micro-Filters, floodgates) and instrument panels for every requirement, in case of specific need of the client or a out of standard tailor-made solution would be necessary.
Therefore the personnel composition is, from both the qualitative and the quantitative point of view, such that to allow a regular, quick and efficient execution of the various activities of the company, meanwhile aiming to the maximum reliability.
